2 big comfortable beds to sleep in, but light system was strange, plus everytime someone in other rooms flushed commode or turned on water it sounded like it was in my room. I sprayed lysol on everything to keep odors out. I think someone was smoking Marijuana or that's what it smelled of. Wi fi was off and on also. But for the price? It was worth it!!!
Was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and comfort we experienced here. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the room was spacious and quiet. Big and comfortable king size bed. Grocery and restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend at only $55 a night. Will definitely be my first choice if we ever need accommodations again while in Winnsboro.
I've stayed here once a year for the last 22 years for the annual Parker Family Reunion. I've always enjoyed my stay. Clean rooms, wifi,microwave and cable TV. The family that owns and manages Trails Country are friendly people who care about their guests. I really enjoyed the recently renovated room this year. In spite of Texas heat and humidity that new A/C had me under the blanket. Located on the edge of historic Winnsboro, it's five minutes to anywhere in town. Thanks for a great stay.
Its the best motel actually in Winnsboro. Its a little older but staff keeps the rooms and premises clean and neat. Basically in the middle of town. Good places to eat within walking distance. Downtown Winnsboro is only two blocks away. Ive stayed there every year for the last 17 years when I'm in Winnsboro for my family's reunion
For the only motel in Winnsboro it's a great deal. Large rooms, very clean, updated floors mostly, large walk in closet and the ceiling heater in the bathroom was amazing! Old school, updated and definitely a good place to stay in Winnsboro.
It’s not fancy, but they do a fantastic job keeping it clean. We stay here in the same rooms every year for a fishing trip, and the owner and his wife do a wonderful job taking care of us. I have no idea about other accommodations in Winnsboro, but I would certainly be happy to recommend this place.
It's an older motel, but it's clean and the staff is great and accommodating. Great no frills experience.
Very clean, owners very nice, feel at home, simple older motel. If you are looking for the Hilton this is not it. If you are looking for a clean comfortable homey place to stay this is it.
